Edmonton, AB - Are you a devoted book reader who is obsessed with the mystery and the crime genre? Do you never miss an episode of CSI? Do you have an unrelenting passion for the intricate details of crime investigation and want to know how the experts solve these macabre mysteries? Are you a professional expert in the legal, medical or investigative field of crime? Do you have an interest in appearing on television?
Here's your chance to share you passion in the brand new television series, BOOKED, to be aired on Access, CLT, Court TV, and Book TV beginning in February 2005.
BOOKED is a 13-episode series that will explore the most popular crime novels of our recent century. The series will bring together crime book enthusiasts with professional forensic scientists, coroners, medical examiners, criminologists, crime investigators, police officers and other experts in the field of crime to debate, discuss and deconstruct a popular crime novel covering topics such as the story, the crime, the investigative procedures, etc.
If you are an articulate individual with an enthusiasm for the genre of crime fiction or work in the field of crime, or related industry, you are invited to attend an Open Call for Participants, Thursday October 28th at Volume II Books (12433-102 Avenue). Drop in between 4 and 8 pm to meet with the producers. Selected participants will be invited for interviews on an alternative date.
